2012 Festival Information
Yes ~ we do have a new name! Based on our experience and success from the last two years we have changed our name to truly reflect who we are and what we represent.
"The Fibre Arts Festival of British Columbia: join(ing) members of the BC fibreshed in a celebration, promotion and educational experience of natural fibres and the products produced using natural fibres".
We are excited to announce that we have found our permanent home for the 2012 Fibre Arts Festival of B.C. -
Saturday October 6th.
Our new location - The Shatford Centre for the Arts - 760 Main Street, Penticton is a wonderful permanent 'home' location for our art festival.
Doors will open at 10:00 and go through to 5:00pm. Delicious food and beverages will be available throughout the day.
There will also be demonstrations throughout the day related to all things fibre ~ needle felting, wet felting, carding, spinning, weaving and more so make sure you come with an inquisitive mind!
